How to play
Everything you need to know about Kadonk – a two-minute read.
The goal
You control a block made of two stacked cubes. Every move tips it over an edge: standing, it lies down; lying, it rolls on or stands up again.
You finish a level when the block stands upright on the glowing goal tile and drops in. If any part of the block hangs over the edge, it falls – just undo or restart.

The tiles
- Tile
Carries the block in any orientation.
- Start
The block starts here, standing upright.
- Goal
Stand the block upright on it to finish the level.
- Fragile
Holds a lying block – if the block stands upright on it, the tile breaks.
- Soft switch (circle)
Fires as soon as any part of the block touches it.
- Hard switch (X)
Only fires when the block stands upright on it.
- Bridge (closed)
A hole until a switch of the same color opens the bridge.
- Bridge (open)
Carries the block – until a switch of the same color closes it.
- Teleporter
Splits a standing block into two cubes that you control in turns. When they meet again, they merge back into one block.
Stars & par
Every level has a par: the shortest possible solution plus two moves. Finish within par for three stars, within one and a half times par for two stars, otherwise one. Your best solution is saved and can run along as a ghost block.
Tips
- Think backwards from the goal: from which tile does the block tip upright into the hole?
- Narrow paths can often only be crossed lying down – watch which way the block is lying.
- Switches affect all bridges of their color. Some only open, some only close, some toggle.
- Undo costs nothing but a move on the counter – feel free to experiment.
